But what does quick release mean and what is it for? Hinges of this type make it easy to unhook the plastic part of the toilet bowl (i.e. the donut and lid) from the toilet bowl/wc. Once unhooked, only the pins or pivot plates will remain on the toilet bowl and cleaning the sanitary ware will be simplified and very quick and precise.
