Ceramica Flaminia’s modern series and their special toilet seats.
We have met Ceramica Flaminia in many previous posts and seen a series of incredible successes. Perhaps the iconic project is the one we mentioned in the post: “The FLAMINIA design series. Not just WCs and bidets, but LINK, SPIN, TERRA ….and their toilet seats” where we have seen precisely: LINK, SPIN and TERRA.
This ceramic company has been able to create truly unique and unmistakable sanitary ware shapes in recent times. Let us see some of them:
Bonola series Ceramica Flaminia
One of the most successful ceramic series in recent years, its name is BONOLA. The designer behind the project (year 2014) his name is: Jasper Morrison. With these sanitary wares, you can perceive just by looking at them the softness outlined by wide curved lines. Shapes only possible with wall-hung sanitary ware.

Monò series Ceramica Flaminia
Also for this series called MONO’, Ceramica Flaminia gave the project to a very important designer: Patrick Nourguet who will also design for this company NILE which we will see later.
How can we consider this ceramic series from a formal point of view? Certainly revolutionary! We put it into rectangular shapes but add a few descriptive details. The starting shape in the top is definitely a rectangle, but the rounded corners lighten it structurally. The body of the sanitary ware as it descends towards the floor changes inclination by a few degrees, causing the end to narrow. The overall view is an upward development that streamlines the shape.

UNA series Ceramica Flaminia
Looking for a special sanitary ware series? This project by designer Romano Adolini is surprising. You have certainly heard of semi-recessed washbasins for bathroom furniture, but what about sanitary ware? No? Then take a look at UNA by Flaminia. Of course someone might object that Pozzi Ginori had done something similar with the Thermae series. But the stylistic details in this case are maniacal. Even the toilet seat cover has been worked on and a mould has been made which curves around the front following the profile of the sanitary ware.
