In the world of bathroom furniture, the name Eos is associated with quality ceramics and sanitary ware shapes that appealed to the general public. Unfortunately, the company was closed down a few years ago and with it, very special sanitary ware shapes and craftsmanship of the highest level disappeared. A real shame! In this post we would like to remember the most important sanitaryware series produced by Eos ceramiche and guide you, in case you have in your bathroom sanitaryware of this brand, to the correct purchase of their toilet seats.
COMPACT series by Eos Ceramiche.
Compact: when small is beautiful! The name of the series gives an idea of its size. We talked about it in the post ”WC seats sizes | small size for small sanitary ware”. She was by far the first to offer a perfect circle on the top of the toilet. She was the inspiration for many sanitary ware series that came after. ASTRO series by Eos Ceramiche.
It falls into the category of WCs that have a stepped top. We have discussed this in the post “The sanitary wares with an inclined top and their toilet seats with shaped bumpers (part 1)”. It is considered the big brother of Clodia Dolomite: this is the Astro series by Eos Ceramiche. They are really two very similar sanitary ware, the difference is only in the size, specifically in the basin of Astro that is much wider and consequently you need a precise toilet seat for those steps in the edge. MISTRAL series by Eos Ceramiche.
Mistral. This is perhaps the only series of Eos sanitary ware that does not produce anything new from a formal point of view, but perhaps it has been influenced by the fashion of the moment. In fact, it is very reminiscent of a Cesame series that was all the rage in the ’80s. We are talking about the legendary Aretusa (which we saw in the post ”Ceramica Cesame and challenge the big palyers in the market. Are the original toilet seats still available? (part 1)”) It is slightly more slim in line, but it is certainly very similar, even the wheelbase of the toilet seat is the same 19/20 cm. EDGE Tondo series by Eos Ceramiche.
Edge.This is the variant called “tonda” (round). A very innovative and unique design. Soft lines with an upper surface marked by the rear surface of the WC itself deliberately designed almost as a separate element of the range of curvature. EDGE Quadra series by Eos Ceramiche.

RIACE series by Eos Ceramiche.
If we talk about sanitary ware with strange and unusual shapes, this one deserves the podium: Riace. In fact, we talked about it in the post ”Unusual shaped toilet seats with special sizes. You’re going to see a lot! ”. The master ceramists at Eos have created a sanitary ware with truly amazing workmanship. PANTHEON series by Eos Ceramiche.
Pantheon.They are the classic retro style line from Eos Ceramiche. We had a good look in the post “Sanitary wares Retrò-Classic-English Style and their toilet seats” that are a symbol of style and class in bathroom design. They are the sanitary ware that recalls the charm of yesteryear and the Parisian Belle Epoque. They are still loved by architects who like to include them in their projects, both in prestigious villas and in very modern lofts, knowing well that they will be appreciated by the clients who commissioned the work.
