An iconic product, thanks to which Inda has launched itself into the shower enclosure segment and made itself known to the general public as a manufacturer of shower partitions. Its name is: PRAIA.
Thanks to the shower box PRAIA a number of innovations were introduced to the market that would later be adopted by other manufacturers such as Novellini and Samo. The first stylistic element that surprises is the height of the shower enclosure. We were used to standard heights of 185 cm, with Praia we arrive at an impressive 195 cm! This is the period when flush-to-floor shower trays began to become popular. Used to the previous 11/12 cm high ceramic ones, had it not been for this aesthetic improvement, the shower enclosures would have seemed excessively small in ‘stature’.
Another novelty: the famous detachable door. On all sliding doors, a pressure hook was introduced that allowed the door to be easily and safely released at the bottom and facilitated cleaning of the glass and the sliding track. Which we know are easily attacked by dirt and limescale and therefore require frequent cleaning.
The wide range offered by this series still makes it a shower enclosure of choice for many customers. You can choose between corner shower enclosures with both sliding sides or with a fixed side and a sliding door. There are recessed versions with a hinged, saloon or sliding door. The half-round versions also offer a wide choice: with one and two sliding doors and also a rectangular half-round version suitable for shower trays with different sides (90×70 90×75 100×80).
