Ceramica Vincenti ANTICA series
With this ceramic series the of Civita Castellana’s Company VINCENTI dropped the ace in the bathroom furnishing world. It was called Antica. A style also in the name antiqued classic, curves and protrusions proportioned and calibrated so well that it is still a very up-to-date design. We saw in the post: ”Modern sanitary ware, but with classic/antique shapes? How possible? Where can I find their toilet covers?” who in the history of the industry has competed with this ceramic series: CALLA by Ideal Standard, CANOVA by Catalano, BELLA EPOQUE by Cesame and FIDIA by Flaminia. Very particular is the shape of the internal hole (which we do not see in this picture) made in the shape of an 8, taken from its original toilet seat which you can find in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik here ]
Ceramica Senesi PIENZA sereis
A design reminiscent of the rectangle. A shape for its time, it was called Pienza. Ceramica Senesi proposed this series in the glorious period of the 80s and gained national prominence. It was positioned in the market segment of bathroom design legends of those years and we have seen in the post: ”Sanitaryware from the 80s and 90s. Finding the toilet seat cover”, all top sellers: CLODIA by Dolomite, METRO by Flaminia, SINTESI by Cesame, TESI by Ideal Standard and LUCE Catalano and FANTASIA Pozzi Ginori. Despite fierce competition it managed to carve out its own market share and is still widely found in the bathrooms of many homes in Italy. It was a rectangular shape with very rounded corners; if we had to find a resemblance to it we would say TESI by Ideal Standard. Laufen Ceramica MOBELLO series
Laufen is internationally recognised for the quality of its ceramic enamel. The Mobello series was only available in a suspended version (like ALA by Ideal Standard we saw in the post: ”Wall-hung sanitary ware and their covers (part 1)”. and with its irregular rectangular shape conquered the market. In addition to white, it was also produced in champagne, mink, grey and pomegranate red. Ceramica Galassia ARKE’ series
Queen of Ceramic House Sales GALASSIA, but also category champion of the round shapes that we saw in the post: ”Round sanitaryware like a circle. Here you need customised toilet seats!” We certainly consider it the icon of round shapes. It was called Arkè by Galassia and was a best seller in this category. A circle (40 cm wide) that decreases to a cone and squared elements to complete the body of the sanitary fitting make it a design object.
