The Catalano ZERO toilet seat. How many models are there in this series? Zero45, 50, 54, 55, 62, Light+
With this project/system, Catalano Ceramica has made a name for itself in the world of designer bathroom furniture, so much loved by architects, designers and interior designers. A very complete series made up of an infinity of washbasins and the subject that interests us in this post of many WCs and bidets each with its own toilet seat. We will divide them by groups that have the same toilet seat.
ZERO 54 series by Catalano
In the floor-standing version shown in the photo and in the suspended version, it is very recognisable by its high rear rise: Zero 54. It was the first version offered by Catalano. The toilet seat for this model do not fit all other versions of Zero. Apart from the dimensions, the discriminating factor in the toilet seat is the wheelbase, which in this version measures 18 cm. ZERO LIGHT series by Catalano
From the Zero programme are the smallest sanitary ware, they are called: Zero Light. As we saw in the post: “Which small toilet seat has sold the most? ” Together with its two competitors, 500 Pozzi-Ginori and You&me Hatria, they practically shared the market for small sanitary ware. The 50 cm long suspended series and the 48 cm long floor-standing series were presented! It was a success! ZERO+ series by Catalano
This is the most formally important series of the Zero system. Large dimensions, suitable for large bathrooms. We are talking about sanitaryware with a width of 40 cm, so certainly not suitable for small bathrooms. They have been out of production for a few years now, but their original toilet seat is available in the store at the following link [ clik here ]. ZERO 50,54,55,62 series by Catalano
With these shapes Catalano has reached the taste of the most refined audience of architects and designers. From the first presentation to the present day, the series has undergone several restyling until the latest suspended version with depths of 50 and 55. The shape is certainly reminiscent of the first Zero 54, but the rear step has been eliminated and the centre distance of the toilet seat has increased from 18 cm to 22 cm.
